Websites

The primary functions of a website are three-fold: 1) Provide value, 2) Capture leads (collect e-mail addresses), and 3) Convert sales. In web design, especially, the look and feel of the presentation can vary (it must be attractive to appeal to the target audiences), but most importantly, these functions must be in place for a website to be effective. On the web, there are even more design components that must be considered: clarity, consistency, usability, flow, accurate titles, functional navigation, and logical organization are all critical to a creating a good user experience. More than any other type of design, effective web design must follow the concept of “form follows function.” This “less is more” approach simplifies design and streamlines functionality.
